Formed in 1991 in Stevenage, ARJ Construction is an established Main Contractor with a reputation for delivering excellence and expertise over an established client base throughout the South East. Our key sectors include education, healthcare, commercial, heritage and residential; often working within ‘live’ operational environments. Our success has been based around building and maintaining strong client relationships, with a focus on partnering and collaboration. As a result, approximately 70% of our business is with repeat clients or consultant teams.
Typical project values range from £500K to £25 million, contributing to a steady growth; achieving a turnover of £63m in 2016-17 and an expected turnover of £75 million within the current financial year.

The high quality of our people and company processes are central to the exemplary service we provide. Our company operates in accordance with our Integrated Management System(IMS), which has been externally accredited to ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards. Our IMS is facilitated by the company-wide implementation of a Common Data Environment (CDE) known as ‘Connect.’ The CDE is utilised by all company functions to store and manage all project information from tender stage through to handover and end of defects period. As a cloud based system with local back-up, ‘Connect’ enables us to deliver greater efficiency, control and visibility of our projects in real time, both to our clients and project teams.
