Anneka Rice visits Horatio’s Garden, RNOH Stanmore

It was great to have Anneka Rice visit our site at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore earlier this month. Such a worthwhile and exciting project with Horatio’s Garden.

The London Spinal Cord Injury Centre is one of only eleven in the UK designated to receive and treat spinal cord injury patients. The Centre currently has forty beds for adults, children and young people. These include beds for acute care, first episode of rehabilitation and readmission.

The design includes garden rooms, designed by Stephen Marshall, which will be places for patients to use the space whatever the weather. The garden will be a fully accessible, beautiful space enabling patients to spend time surrounded by natural elements.
