Our Model Bricklaying Apprentice
Last week saw our Coombe Road, New Malden site reach an important milestone. ARJ were joined by Client SRG New Malden, Employers Agent Cyril Leonard, and Quantity Surveyors Leslie Clark, amongst others, for a topping out ceremony on the rooftop of the new ‘Castanea House’.
Following a few words from our Contract Manager Alan Bell and Cyril Leonard’s Projects Director Alex Rogers, SRG’s Fahad Alrafi was presented with an engraved trowel in a time-honoured tradition.
Speaking on behalf of ARJ, Alan said “We were delighted to present our client, SRG New Malden, with the ceremonial trowel and share the momentous topping out ceremony with all those who have helped make it possible. It’s an honour to be delivering this residential-led scheme. It’s already looking impressive, and I am very much looking forward to seeing its completion late summer 2023.”
The finished build will provide 79 apartments, 4 terraced maisonettes, a ground floor retail/commercial zone and a basement car park.
